FORMOSA 7s INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

To build the center of international youth football in East Asia, Power Wind Health will host the International Youth Football Tournament in Taiwan.
The competition will invite the best youth teams from Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and various regions in Asia to compete in Taiwan, creating the highest- level international football tournament in East Asia.
This tournament will provide football clubs with the opportunity to compete against with top international teams, enhancing their own strength and exchanging experience with international teams. With DAZN broadcasting the tournament, we aim to further expand the event's influence and promote football in Taiwan.

Registration Process

1.Team Registration

Registration is through our tournament website. You will then be granted access to the tournament information including fee payment and team/player registration. Please note that you can only proceed to payment once you have received written confirmation from Formosa 7s management team that your teams have been accepted.

2.Fee Payment

Once you have registered your team(s), you will then be asked to make payment of tournament fees. Once verified, you will then be granted a spot in our competition, and thus allowed to register your players.

3.Player Registration

Players will need to be registered at least 1 month before the competition, the registration process will be released later.

Who may participate?
All clubs are welcome to participate in the Formosa 7s International Championship. Our goal is to give as many clubs and teams the opportunity to take part and compete in the tournament.
The tournament begins with a group stage. Teams are divided into groups of six or seven teams, where all teams play single round robin. Following that, the top four placed teams of the group will qualify for “Cup Knock Out”, while the remaining teams in the group will qualify to the “Plate Knock Out” stages. The tournament is played under all applicable FIFA rules.

B8 – B15 Categories
Group Match & Knock Out Stage – 15mins each half - with 5 mins half time break
Pro B16 Category
Group Match & Knock Out Stage – 30mins each half - with 10 mins half time break

Age Categorie
B8’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2016
B9‘s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2015
B10‘s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2014
B11’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2013
B12’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2012
B13’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2011
B14’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2010
B15’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2009
Pro B16’s: Players must be born on/after Sep 1st 2007
*Girls can play one(1) age group younger than her real age.

Number of teams in the tournament
We are hoping to be able to accept as many teams as we can, however the spots are limited. Once teams have registered online they will be informed within 1 month whether they have been accepted or not. Teams can enter up to 2 teams per age group. Once accepted teams will be expected to pay for their team registration within 14 days. Registration counts from the date we receive the registration fee.

Insurances/Responsibility
Make sure that all your players are insured both on and off the playing field. Formosa 7s does not carry any group insurance protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft, or damage to property. Formosa 7s will not be held liable or responsible for any damage or injury to any player or parent during the Formosa 7s.

Cancellation of tournament & force majeure
In the event that the tournament can’t be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the tournament organizers (force majeure*) or due to events that are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence or the tournament organizers, the tournament organizers cannot be held liable by the delegations for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses etc. Under these circumstances, the tournament organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegations after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.
